“I was working six days a week, from 8am to 7pm most days,” she told us. “I thought I was doing fine, but in reality, I wasn’t giving myself room to grow.”
Based in Stapleford, Nottingham, Dee-Ann runs Pawfect Paws: a dog-only grooming salon offering teeth cleaning and professional grooming. After eight years in business, she wanted more than just keeping things running. She wanted a business and a life she could feel proud and excited about.
Shifting Her Mindset Around Growth
When she joined the programme, her biggest hurdle was confidence in her value — especially around pricing.
“I knew my prices weren’t matching the standard I wanted for my business. It was all mindset.”
By learning how to communicate value and restructure her pricing confidently, she quickly began to see changes not just in revenue, but in the way she showed up as a business owner.

“I didn’t have any before. Now I work four and a half days a week and actually have time to live.”

“I know all my figures daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. That alone boosted my confidence massively to push the business forward.”
She now has business goals she’s excited about and a plan to make them a reality.
