Behind the scenes there are pricing worries, difficult customers, overflowing diaries, last-minute cancellations, endless cleaning, business decisions and days where it feels like everything depends on you. We built our own grooming business from the ground up and learned firsthand what works, what does not and how easy it is to become overwhelmed trying to manage everything at once.
Today, Bill shares that experience through mentoring and business guidance, while Emma brings her grooming knowledge, industry insight and practical experience from years working directly within the industry. Together, we are here to help groomers feel more confident, more organised and less alone in the business side of grooming.

I’ve always been fascinated by what makes a business successful. Working behind the scenes in our family grooming salon gave me a front-row seat to the challenges so many groomers face every day – working incredibly hard but never quite feeling in control.
Like many of our members, we made mistakes. We underpriced ourselves, relied on outdated systems and spent far too much time working in the business instead of on it. Everything changed when we invested in coaching ourselves. By improving our mindset, refining our systems and making better business decisions, we transformed our salon into a thriving, profitable business.
Today, I help pet groomers build businesses that give them more freedom, more confidence and a better quality of life. Whether it’s pricing, profitability, simple systems or having someone in your corner who genuinely wants you to succeed, that’s what drives me every day.
I’ve spent over 22 years living and breathing the pet grooming industry. After qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse, I started my grooming journey in 2005 as a mobile groomer, just like many of the people we support today.
Over the years, we’ve built a successful salon, grown an incredible team and had the privilege of caring for thousands of wonderful pets. Along the way, I’ve learnt that being a talented groomer is only one part of building a successful business. Confidence, consistency and great systems matter just as much.
At Pet Passion to Profit, I bring the practical, real-world grooming experience. Whether it’s handling challenging dogs, improving salon standards, creating an exceptional client experience or helping groomers build confidence in themselves and the businesses they’re creating, my passion is helping people enjoy both grooming and running a successful business.
