WHAT WAS BUSINESS LIKE BEFORE JOINING THE PROGRAMME?
- I was busy but felt like I was going through the motions, wasn’t charging enough and was overwhelmed with my workload.
WHAT MADE YOU REACH OUT TO BILL?
- I’d been following his page for a while, was impressed with advice he was giving in the comments and was intrigued to see if he could help me.
WHY DID YOU JOIN THE PROGRAMME?
- After chatting with Bill, I knew I had to join. I was fast approaching burn out and was too scared to implement change. I had a fear of increasing prices and implementing more work boundaries so I wasn’t putting clients before my family and home life. I knew after talking to Bill, and already feeling excited to make change, that I’d need his help to achieve it.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU FINANCIALLY?
- It has helped me focus on financial goals within my business. I clearly see now where I’m heading, and where I want to be. I’m earning at least 30% a month more, in good months I have doubled my income.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU MENTALLY?
- This has been the biggest change. I still have a fear of price increases, but I can override it in my head now and push forward. Knowing I have access to the experts and all the other groomers, who are so supportive and always cheering you on is such a huge boost. I’m no longer having to make decisions on my own, and also watching everyone else on their journeys gives you ideas and inspiration and keeps you motivated.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU ORGANISATIONALLY?
- I’m planning more, holidays, days off etc. Setting clear boundaries out. Also I’m much more knowledgeable on my accounts, what’s coming in, going out and this helps me plan and make goals.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THE PROGRAMME AND WHY?
- I think the programme would help all groomers. For someone starting out what a godsend it would be to have so many experienced people helping you every step of the way to succeed, and start off as you mean to go on. For lone groomers I think having a community of people to call on is so invaluable, especially for your mindset. For anyone already running a salon, Bills programme and the network he has created can help you with every aspect of running that business as smoothly, efficiently and profitably as possible.
WHAT DOES THE NEXT 12 MONTHS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
- I’m going to keep pushing my pricing, and I’m still working towards having a good buffer in my account. Also once I’ve completed my ipet course I would like to push on with a cat course as there is definitely a market for it in my area.
