HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
- 15 years in the UK and now just over 1 year in New Zealand (been here 6!)
WHAT WAS BUSINESS LIKE BEFORE JOINING THE PROGRAMME?
- I had a business back in the UK for 15 years. We then relocated to New Zealand in 2017 and finally set up a new business in 2022. It was very daunting so we joined the programme in the very early stages of the business probably 3mths in as we were starting to build the business to give us focus and direction.
WHAT MADE YOU REACH OUT TO BILL?
- My sister invited me to the big fb group and I had seen Bill had a business programme and I was intrigued to learn more.
WHY DID YOU JOIN THE PROGRAMME?
- I decided to join as I felt I needed more support with the business side, growing prices and help with what other services I could offer. After having a chat with Bill I felt confident I could trust Bill to help me grow my business.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU FINANCIALLY?
- The program has allowed for me and my husband to work together after he gave up his corporate job. It’s only 12mths old but we are charging higher prices, adding new services, still learning and continuing to grow the business. We are obviously still a new business but our accountant has advised us that for a new business that is only a year old they are very impressive with what we have earned so far
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU MENTALLY?
- The support from Bills programm is amazing. The group is not judgemental at all if you are having a bad day or two and you would like to ask a question or vent with out feeling judged this has been the only place I’ve not felt uncomfortable to ask away
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU ORGANISATIONALLY?
- Im still not mastered this quite yet but thats not the programmes fault thats my fault for not staying focused.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THE PROGRAMME AND WHY?
- I would 100% recommend this program to others. You have so much support not just from Bill and the other groomers on the programm but the other mentors we have to is just amazing. Down to your branding, websites, how to earn more money, mental health support, you learn on how to value yourself as a professional business owner and charge your worth.
WHAT DOES THE NEXT 12 MONTHS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
- We have a lot to work on its been a hard 12mths as we have had to build the business from scratch. We have more services to add to our business more promoting and more money to come in which we will do.
