WHAT WAS BUSINESS LIKE BEFORE JOINING THE PROGRAMME?
- It was okay but not overly profitable . I was overwhelmed with work and admin and couldn’t see a way forward. Too many ideas and no time to implement.
WHAT MADE YOU REACH OUT TO BILL?
- I needed to focus, manage my pricing, find a better way of working and take my fear away from upsetting clients. I was letting clients run me and my business by people pleasing.
WHY DID YOU JOIN THE PROGRAMME?
- I felt Bill and the mentors would help me hone the business into what I wanted it to be and they would help me change my mindset, manage staff and clients.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU FINANCIALLY?
- Financially it is beyond my expectations. For the first time in my adult life I paid for my holiday and spending money without putting it on credit card. That was immense for me. I am now able to save for my tax and save for things I need in the salon and still the business account remains in profit.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU MENTALLY?
- I now feel positive, am less stressed, my anxiety which was crippling at times is all but gone and I have moments of joy and happiness. The fear has gone.
HOW HAS THE PROGRAMME HELPED YOU ORGANISATIONALLY?
- I do have an administrator who takes a lot off me but I have learnt skills and ways to focus that prevents procrastination. I have now reduced grooming to 4 days a wee allowing because financially I can now afford to do that, meaning I have a full day on a Monday to deal with my admin.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THE PROGRAMME AND WHY
- Absolutely yes. The support, advice and teaching from the mentors is second to none. I feel immensely supported in both my business life and if any personal issues come up. If there is a work crisis the team catch you and help you deal with it. However I also have to mention the other
members of the programme who have become friends and are also an immense support.
WHAT DOES THE NEXT 12 MONTHS LOOK LIKE FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
- Continued growth in the core areas of business and time to develop ideas allowing them to come into fruition so the business can grow and earn without me physically grooming.
