So this a different kind of post but 100% business related so please read!
I am a member of Bill Betts program. I know all us members say how amazing Bills course is and how much it has helped our businesses thrive. But I really cannot stress enough how much Bill and his mentors have helped me and my business.
I have just got back from the most incredible trip in Iceland for my partners 30th birthday. This trip was just an idea, a dream that I didn’t think I would be able to afford to do. Back in January some of us on the course met up for a goals setting day and I stuck Iceland on there and on my
vision board thinking “pffft, maybe we will go but it won’t be as epic as I want it to be because well, money”.
I even lost a staff member this year and thought yep this trip is never going to happen or be as epic as I want it to be. Bill was there in my panic when my staff member left, he answered the phone immediately, calmed me and we came up with a plan.
Well the trip was epic because I listened and took onboard all of the mentors advice. I implemented higher pricing for new clients, increased existing clients, sacked crappy clients, really up sold spa add ons and teeth cleaning. I smashed it and I worked smarter not harder. I’ve had some of my highest earning months this year and that’s without a staff member. Bill will be the first to say I definitely don’t put as much time into the program as others do so I know and he knows I could and would achieve more.
What I am trying to say is, whether you’re on the program or just in this free group, listen to what he and the mentors are saying. Their advice is invaluable and they can and will absolutely help your business thrive. This was a truly epic birthday trip for my partner. We snowmobiled on a
glacier, we chased the northern lights, we super jeeped in the snow, we quad biked in the snow, we saw countless beautiful waterfalls and mountains. I can’t take all the credit as my partner saved for this trip too but, and I don’t like to talk money but maybe seeing figures would help
you, £1000 of this trip was my own money. I would not let him contribute for his birthday snowmobile experience and a chunk of our spending money because for everything he does for me and for just being him I wanted to treat him, to spoil him and I worked hard to make sure this
trip would be amazing.
Also, just perspective as well – this was our 4th “getaway” this year. We went to Lundy, skomer and the Lake District. And I have saved a large chunk of money towards a house deposit this year too.
Anything is possible and achievable if you work hard for it. You can do it! Bills program can change your life, it’s changed mine.
